After you have cleared all the pending dues of your loan amount, you can write a letter to the bank requesting them to issue a no due certificate. A no due certificate from the bank would be a formal letter mentioning if the person has cleared all dues and has done the full and final settlement. A no due certificate from the bank will be only issued to an individual if he or she has cleared all the dues.
A no due certificate from the bank will be issued to an individual only after the clearance of all pending dues. The bank or branch manager will issue a bank no dues certificate. In order to receive a no due certificate, the individual will have to write a letter to the bank manager requesting him or her to issue the certificate. We have written various types of formal letters, and being a student you must have written a lot of letters to the Principal, attendance letters, permission letters, etc. Similarly, the no due certificate format for the bank loans is a type of formal letter which is written to the branch manager.
In order to write the letter, you will have to follow the no dues certificate format for the bank which includes, the receiver’s address, date, subject, salutation, body mentioning the details of the loan account and the dues cleared, and the closure of the letter. The bank manager will provide the no due certificate to the individual after the confirmation of dues clearance. To know the format for both writing the letter as well as the no due certificate, check the sample letters provided below.
